The Basics
Trouble Signing In?
WHAT — We recently upgraded our CRM system! To regain access to Virtual Y, existing YMCA of the North members must claim their account in the new system.
WHY — Most members created an account in our old system, and this same information was imported into the new one. As a security precaution, and to ensure you can access the new system, all members must reclaim their accounts in the new system.
HOW — On the new login page, enter the email address used for your previous account and then select the Create Account option to set a password. If you don't remember your email address, use the one where your YMCA emails are sent.
Virtual Y is an online fitness and wellness platform from one of the world's most trusted brands.
- Virtual Y offers the most extensive catalog of 4K fitness and wellness videos in the YMCA movement.
- New live streams are created (almost) every day.
- Content ranges from workouts and meditations with classes up to 45 minutes long.
Virtual Y is FREE to access for all YMCA of the North members and team members.
Everyone is welcome to join through a Virtual Membership option starting at just $9.99/month.
No. Virtual membership is a great option to access YMCA video streaming content from anywhere in the world. However, physical access to YMCA branches requires an account upgrade. We offer discounts and financial assistance for select groups. Learn more.
We acknowledge that managing multiple accounts and passwords can be frustrating and time consuming. We are continuously working to improve the Virtual Y experience, but in order to offer the best experience, unique accounts for virtual membership billing and for Virtual Y access are currently required. Singular account management will be returning in 2025.
Virtual Y free trial users get all the same features, functionality and benefits as a paid subscriber. We want to showcase all that the platform has to offer you and help enhance your personal wellbeing, if only for a week.
A purchase is required at the end of the 7-day trial period to continue to access Virtual Y. You will not be automatically billed, but will need to Sign Up for a digital or full membership to resume access.
